Following on from such a successful first workshop, there will be a further opportunity for delegates to attend a day long Bell Maintenance workshop held in Northampton on the 23rd September 2017, again taught by Jennie Higson.

All Saints’ Church, Northampton

The workshop will take place at two Northampton Churches – All Saints and St Peter’s. Running between 9.45am and 4.30pm, the day will include theory and practice on basic bell maintenance, health and safety considerations, what to look for in a maintenance check and understanding when it’s appropriate to call in professional bell hangers.

If you’ve been given the job of steeple-keeper in your tower and would like to extend your skills, or you’re just interested in how Church bells should be maintained, this is a very useful workshop, packed with information. and practical advice.
