This half day workshop will be led by Tony Croft at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Hathern on Saturday 29th July.
Starting at 9.30am, the session will include an introduction to simulators, how they can be used effectively to teach foundation skills in the tower and support the development of ringers both during a practice and working individually.
Delegates will learn about the various hardware and software requirements and how a simulator can help build skills for good method ringing. It is suitable for anyone whose tower is equipped with a simulator (which is perhaps not being used to its full potential!), or to those who are interested in getting a simulator installed but who would like to find out more.
The workshop costs £5 (payable to ART) and finishes at around 12.30pm. After this, the Anchor and Kings Arms pubs are both recommended pubs in the village. Teas and coffees will be available during the day (donation to the Church) and there is on street parking on Church Street or Cross Street (nearby). There are toilet facilities in the Church.
To request a place on this workshop or for further information, please contact Tony Croft on the.crofties.32@gmail.com or use the online booking form through SmART Ringer here!
