Really enjoying the challenge of learning to ring although can get a bit frustrated at times, especially with the call changes. I need to realise and remember what I have achieved though and visualise getting the changes correct.
Rang for my first church service, on the tenor, last week and have been invited to ring for my first wedding this week. Over the moon.
Have written an article for Ringing Remembers Campaign and another for Ringing Around Devon. From the first article was invited to take part in a local radio interview with Lord Bourne, Minister for Faith, talking about being a new ringer and the Campaign.
I am a relatively new resident in Feniton, East Devon. We have a fabulous village church with six ringable bells, but sadly, no band. Therefore, I am currently trying to recruit a band to ring on Armistice Day, 2018.
