This has been an amazing year learning something which, one year ago I had never even contemplated. High points have been getting my hand transfer right! Than ringing up and down and being able to stand the bell on demand. Having joined the Stokesley band to learn to ‘ring for the king’ Ashley made sure I was able to ring a round by Friday May 5th which felt like big milestone. I’m so impressed by the adaptability of the teaching style of the ART system, as well as the camaraderie and encouragement of all the ringers I’ve met. I’m now looking forward to being able to ring changes to be able ring on Sundays with the Stokesley band.
