Help Centre - As an Assessor: I have recently assessed both a Teacher and supporting mentor together and I need to submit both their ‘Recommendations for Accreditation’ through SmART Ringer, but how do I do this?

Firstly:   Please make sure that the supporting mentor understands that you are making the recommendations for both of them. As of 1 January 2020 it is no longer possible for mentors to submit accreditation recommendations for any of the ART Modules.  [the FAQ here also refers]).

You should also ask them both to confirm that they have passed the online theory test and submitted their ART Membership Declarations (Note: checking these is not a requirement for your assessment [the FAQ here also refers], but they are conditions for accreditation and should therefore be checked prior to submitting a ‘Recommendation for Accreditation’).

You should remember that there are different accreditation submission forms for either Module 1, Module 2F or Module 2C [the FAQ here also refers].

Please do not submit recommendations for both the Teacher and the supporting mentor on just one form, separate submissions are required [the FAQ here also refers]
