Like like the ringers at Great Gransden, we at Bardwell, Suffolk, also use the ART teaching programme for all our new ringers and in fact, as all the band is relatively new, every member us signed up and is at some stage of Learning The Ropes. The huge advantage of this us that teaching is consistent and we as a band have common goals. It also means that every practice  night is a learning and teaching practice. Within the band we have two new teachers as well…..hopefully they will shortly be accredited. Watch this space!

So it was great that last week three of our newest learners, Sue, Joan and Karen, pictured above, all passed their Level One. They all felt very motivated to carry on and improve their skills and it was apparent that they felt a real sense of achievement .
