The workshop will be a mixture of theory and practical exercises, explaining coursing order using Bob minor as an example. The aim is for all participants to be able to call two different touches of Bob mMinor, to understand the derivation of coursing orders, to be able to see and practically use coursing order whilst ringing Bob Minor.

This conducting workshop is ideal for ringers who can confidently call touches, but who have never understood or considered how coursing orders can be used. Attendees will be helped to see the coursing order unfold, understand how each call affects it, then see how conductors use that knowledge to check the ringing or correct it if necessary.

If you would like to reserve a place, please contact annie.hall@sky.com or complete the online booking form on SmART Ringer here.  The Coventry Guild will pay for their members to attend the programme, but ask for a small donation for the refreshments and contribution to the hire of the church room.
